A: MediResource has designed this site to be as accessible as possible for everyone to gain useful health information. Choose a podcast to listen to and it will automatically play in your browser. If you would prefer to save the podcast to your computer, click on “Download MP3 file” instead.
Q: What are the site requirements?
A: This website will operate in a PC or Mac environment. You need to have a sound card and speakers attached to your system for audio playback.
Q: My audio isn’t working – I can’t hear the podcast, what do I do?
A: First, make sure that your speakers are connected correctly to your computer and are turned on with the volume set to a standard listening level. After that, check the audio settings of your computer’s operating system to make certain that your speakers are active and not set to “mute.” If you cannot hear the streaming audio podcast within the browser, please download the MP3 file to your computer for playback.
Q: When I click “Listen” on a particular podcast file, nothing happens.
A: If nothing happens, make sure that your web browser’s embedded player wasn’t blocked by a pop-up blocker. If it was, configure the blocker to allow pop-ups or ActiveX controls from this site.
Q: Do I need to reconfigure my router or network settings to listen to the podcasts?
A: If you are able access this podcast website through your web browser by normal means, you should be able to listen to the streaming podcast files. If you are within a corporate business environment, and are having trouble listening to the audio files, please contact your network administrator.
Q: I have a modem/dial-up Internet connection; can I still listen to the audio?

A: MediResource has taken the guesswork out of listening to its audio files. Each episode is available as streaming media, allowing you to listen directly from your web browser, or if you like, you can download the file directly to your computer. If you decide to download an MP3 to your computer, you will require free audio playback software, such as Windows Media Player, Real Player, Winamp, or iTunes.
Q: Do I need to have an iPod or a Mac computer to listen to these audio files?
A: No. The audio files available from MediResource are in a standard MP3 format, allowing them to work with all portable digital audio players and computer systems.
